Chamber Filter Press

The filtration part is composed of a filter plate arranged on the main beam in a certain order, a filter cloth sandwiched between the filter plates, and a diaphragm filter plate, and the filter plate, filter cloth and diaphragm filter plate are arranged between each other, forming several independent filter units - at the beginning of filter chamber filtration, the slurry enters each filter chamber through the feed port on the thrust plate under the push of the feed pump, and is filtered by the pressure generated by the feed pump. Due to the role of the filter cloth, the solids are left in the filter chamber to form a filter cake, and the filtrate is discharged by the nozzle (open flow) or the outlet valve (dark flow) (see Appendix 1 for the specifications of the nozzle). If the filter cake needs to be washed, the washing water can be introduced from the washing port on the thrust plate to wash the filter cake; If a lower moisture content cake is required, compressed air can also be introduced through the washing port and passed through the filter cake layer to remove some of the moisture from the filter cake (for Uk models). If compressed air or high-pressure liquid is introduced from the air inlet, the diaphragm is agitated to press the filter cake, which can further reduce the moisture content of the filter cake
2. In the process of using the filter press, the filter cloth plays a key role, and its performance is good or bad, and the correct selection directly affects the filtration effect. Among the filter cloths used, the most common is woven from synthetic fibers, which can be divided into polyester, vinylon, polypropylene, nylon and so on according to its different materials.
3. In addition, commonly used filter media also include cotton spinning, non-woven fabrics, screens, filter paper and microporous membranes, etc., according to the actual filtration requirements.

The main advantages of this model are less loss during feeding, fast filtration speed, high temperature and high pressure resistance, good sealing performance, uniform cake washing, low moisture content, and uniform pressure in each filter chamber and not easy to break the plate, basically suitable for all solid-liquid separation industries.
